A Little Local Love

There's so much to love about Oregon City, and it's about more than just a great facial. Explore some of my favorite local small businesses, hidden gems, and community spots that make this town special. These are the places I love supporting, and I think you'll love them, too.

The Glow Up Aesthetics

Expert Care, Good Vibes & Women Who Know Their Stuff

I honestly don't even know where to start with my love for LeAnn and her team! These ladies are the perfect combination of professional, knowledgeable, kind, and just plain fun to be around. As an esthetician, I know that sometimes our skin needs a little more than facials and a solid skincare routine can provide. That's where The Glow Up Aesthetics comes in! From Botox and fillers to lasers and beyond, they offer treatments that can address concerns outside the scope of traditional facials and at-home skincare.

I refer my own clients to them without hesitation because I trust their expertise and know they'll be in wonderful hands. Having other amazing women in the beauty industry to collaborate with and confidently recommend is such a gift. If you're looking for experienced professionals who make you feel comfortable, cared for, and confident, these are your ladies!

Watershed Cafe & Bistro

Downtown Oregon City’s Cozy Living Room

If downtown Oregon City had a living room, it would be Watershed Cafe. It's one of those cozy spots where I always seem to run into someone I know or get greeted by a friendly face. The mix of seating makes it feel warm and inviting, whether you're meeting a friend, getting some work done, or just enjoying a little time to yourself.

The menu is incredible, but I'm especially partial to their breakfast burrito and seasonal drink menus. And the Creamsicle Matcha? Out of this world! If you're exploring downtown Oregon City, this is one spot I think deserves a place on your list. Come for the coffee and food, stay for the cozy atmosphere and community feel.

mak studio

A Creative Little Escape in Oregon City

When I'm in a crafty mood (which is pretty much always!), I love stopping by Mak̄ Studio. Founded by Laurie, this creative retail workshop and art studio is such a fun place to let your creative juices flow. Laurie has thoughtfully curated a variety of projects that make it easy to try something new, get your hands busy, and create something uniquely yours.

During the day, you can drop in without an appointment and dive into a project, while select evenings offer special workshops that you can reserve ahead of time. But what I love most is that Mak̄ is more than just a place to make art. It's a welcoming third space to catch up with friends, meet new people, and enjoy a little creative time away from the everyday hustle.

Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just looking for something fun and different to do, Mak̄ Studio is a little gem worth discovering in Oregon City!

The Elevator

Oregon City’s Vertical Street!

Did you know Oregon City is home to the only vertical street in the entire United States?! The Oregon City Municipal Elevator is such a fun, unique attraction and a little piece of mid-century modern architectural history right here in our community!

I love how the elevator lights up throughout the year for different seasons and celebrations. It’s such a fun way to bring a little extra personality to downtown Oregon City!

Even better? It’s FREE to ride! Check the website for current operating hours before you visit.

Local tip: If parking on Main Street is tight, park up the hill and take the elevator down into downtown. It’s a convenient way to explore the shops, restaurants, and everything else our amazing downtown has to offer!

A must-visit if you’re exploring Oregon City! ❤️

Good Form on Main

Find Your Form, Find Your Community

As a new Pilates fan, I can already tell I've found my home at Good Form on Main! It's the only studio in Oregon City with reformer machines, and it's absolutely gorgeous. The equipment is amazing, the instructors are delightful, and I love the variety of classes available. Whether you're brand-new to Pilates like me or have been practicing for years, there's such a welcoming feel that makes you want to keep coming back.

Fun fact: Owner Kayla and I go waaaay back! We used to be colleagues in the wedding industry , and now we're both doing our own things here in Oregon City. I just love how small-world this community can be and how fun it is to watch talented women build businesses that bring people together.

If you've been curious about Pilates, take this as your sign to give Good Form on Main a try. You might just find your new favorite place, too!
