What to Expect During an Eyebrow Wax (From Me to You)
If you’ve never had your brows professionally waxed—or it’s been a while—here’s exactly what it’s like when you come see me.
First, we don’t just jump into waxing. I always start with mapping your brows. This is where I look at your face shape, bone structure, and natural brow growth to figure out the most flattering shape for you. I’m not here to give you “trendy” brows—I want them to feel like you, just a little more polished.
Then we wax. I use wax to clean up the bulk of the hair—above, below, and in between—so you get those really crisp, defined lines. It’s quick, and most of my clients are surprised by how easy it feels.
After that, I go in with tweezers. This is my favorite part because it’s all about the details. I’ll grab any tiny hairs the wax missed and fine-tune everything so your brows look balanced and intentional—not overdone.
To finish, I’ll calm the skin and make sure everything is sitting just right. If you have questions about filling them in or growing them out, this is usually when we chat about that too.
As for how often to come in, most of my clients stick to every 4–6 weeks. That keeps the shape clean without overworking the skin, and over time your regrowth usually gets softer and easier to manage.
My biggest tip? Try not to tweeze in between appointments (I know, it’s hard). Letting them grow in a bit gives me more to work with so I can keep your shape looking its best.
That’s really it. It’s a simple service, but it makes such a difference—and once you have a shape you love, it’s so much easier to maintain.
xoxo
